Terms and Conditions for Group Classes

Enrolment

Enrolment is conditional upon Tony the Dog Trainer receiving full payment and a completed registration form prior to the commencement date of the course.

Handler Involvement

Training courses require the active involvement of responsible handlers. These handlers need to be old enough to understand and follow training instructions.

Scope of Group Classes

Group classes cover content that is specific to the particular course. Issues with dogs that require an individualised behavioural training approach cannot be adequately addressed in a group setting, and will be better addressed in private 1:1 training. I will make any recommendations for this as necessary to help you and your dog. 

Privacy

Your personal details are not shared with anyone else. I may take photographs and/or video during the course for promotional use and these will only be taken and used with your permission.

Late or Missed Payments

Late or missed payments may incur a 20% administration fee. Please be prompt with payment and communicate with Tony the Dog Trainer if there are any issues.

  Rescheduling Appointments

If you need to reschedule an individual appointment, please do so with at least 48 hours notice prior so that someone else can have the opportunity to have your appointment time. Please note that a group class may only be rescheduled at the discretion of Tony the Dog Trainer. 

 Cancellations and Refunds

Tony the Dog Trainer reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course in its entirety if insufficient numbers are reached for the course to commence. In this eventuality, anyone registered and paid will receive a full refund. 

Tony the Dog Trainer reserves the right to postpone or reschedule individual or group classes within a course. In this eventuality, all efforts will be made to reschedule at a mutually suitable time for Tony the Dog Trainer and the participants.

Please note that due to the restricted numbers in classes no refunds are available if a participant wishes to withdraw once the course commences.

 Working With Dogs

Working with dogs can be unpredictable and dangerous. Tony the Dog Trainer will not be liable for any injury, death, accident, loss, lost dog or any other problem that may appear to have resulted from training or following training from Tony the Dog Trainer. All training is at the dog owner's risk. Please take all necessary precautions.

If, in the opinion of Tony the Dog Trainer, a dog may present a risk to other dogs or humans, Tony the Dog Trainer reserves the right to exclude that dog from continuing in group classes.
